KYOCERA, is a leading company in

look back on 30 years of research into and
utilisation of solar energy. What began in
1975 when Japan Solar Energy Corp. (JSEC)
was founded has meanwhile developed into

pioneering development came about in 1982

polycrystalline silicon solar cells. Since

Kyocera's advanced cell processing
technology and automated production
facilities produce a highly efficient
multicrystalline photovoltaic module. These
cells are encapsulated between a tempered
glass cover and an EVA pottant with back
sheet to provide maximum protection from the
severest environmental conditions. The
entire laminate is installed in an anodized
aluminium frame to provide structural
strength and ease of installation, equipped
with plug in connectors. |

High Efficiency / Energy Yield / Power
Output
The conversion efficiency of the KYOCERA
solar cell with basic dimension of 15.0 cm x
15.5 cm reaches over 15.6%. This guarantees
maximum performance and energy yield for
your solar system.
Solar energy systems equipped with the
Kyocera photovoltaic modules yield more
energy per year than most other
installations of the same nominal power
output. The supreme energy yield of the
Kyocera PV modules has been proven by many
monitored installations.
The standard range of Kyocera solar panel PV
modules includes high efficiency modules
from 40 Wp up to 200 Wp. In addition SSL
offers small size modules in the range from
5 Wp up to 20 Wp. The support structure for
those larger units is cheaper and the
installation time is shorter.
Kyocera guarantees a 20 years limited
performance warranty on all KC-type solar
modules. Kyocera solar modules are
manufactured in accordance with
international standards such as ISO, JET and
TUV.
